I’m just putting the finishing touches on Junction right now, and will be moving on to testing very soon (probably by Friday). If you would be interested in giving it a test-run, please leave a comment here (leave your email in the email section, don’t publish it in your comment).

I’d love to gather as much feedback as possible, so please let me know if you’d be interested in testing it out! Thanks in advance for your interest!

    Me please.

Did you figure out the details about including a font with your release?

    Pat.

I would love a chance to test it out. Currently Im playing around with something based on MNML (by the makers of Thematic) but would like to see how yours flows as well.

@Ian: The closest I can get to an answer is that sIFR is licensed under a LGPL, which means I can distribute it. I am not distributing font files either, so I cannot see why it wouldn’t be allowed. In my mind, it’s no different than a .pdf file with fonts embedded, which cannot be extracted for other use.

So, the plan is to go ahead with the release as is. I feel I’ve done due diligence in researching what the law states about the issue, and if anyone takes issue with it, then I guess we’ll just go from there!

@Kevin: That sounds great. I’ll email you this week to give you details about downloading. Take care!

    Thanks, Alex!

I’m sorry the last one isn’t great. I am really hoping that Junction will be a great theme that can be released to the general public really soon!
