New Design

I’ve finally posted the re-design for my blog. I’m still tentitively calling the theme Junction. Junction is based on the Thematic Frame Work by Ian Stewart. I still have a few things to do like style the footer, blockquotes, and make a few other tweaks here and there, but overall I am really, really happy […]

Just Need to Recalibrate

I know, this isn’t the first time you’ve seen me start this whole thing over. Really, I am not starting over at all. I just felt that I needed to take my “theme in progress” down for a while until it was closer to being ready for launch. I learned a very valuable lesson though: […]

Header Images Working

I finally figured out the sIFR issue, and have also added the title backgrounds to the post titles. I’d love to hear what you think about them! Please leave a comment and tell me what you think. I have more a lot left to do (blog header, comments section, etc) but I feel like I’m […]

Expanding on Ideas

Just had to go ahead with some ideas. Let me know what you think of the header (I still have to work on the typography and such, but tell me what you think of the red banner).

Take a look at the idea, and tell me what you think!

The title would be in Din Bold, using sIFR. Also, I’m debating between Georgia and Lucida Grande for body text. I really like Lucida Grande, but also […]

Back to Two Columns

I think for now I’m going to go back to two columns for my layout. I liked the way 3 columns looked, except for the width of the content column. If it could somehow be wider, I’d be happy with it, but until I can spend some more time tweaking, I’m going to go back […]

Thematic 0.6 Released

Thematic 0.6 has just been released. For those who may not know, the theme I am developing right before your eyes is built upon the Thematic Theme Framework. So far the experience has been so impressive. Also, a big congrats to Ian Stewart for getting the newest version of Thematic into the Wordpress Theme Directory!

Blank Canvas

Made a few style decisions regarding the blog today. As I had posted earlier, I want the design to have a personal feeling to it. I want it warm and inviting, and to almost have a “hand drawn” aspect to it.
I’ve started to dig into the stylesheets a bit. One of the things I love about […]
